Tuned-in Tuesday (a day late)

My little one caught the cold bug and it’s been so tiring taking care of him and trying to keep myself from getting sick… which didn’t happen. So apologizes for the lateness of this! I hope all of you are staying healthy and not sick!

So here is this week’s compilation of things that gave me motivation, made me chuckle or just made me think. There may even be an article or two in here that made me quite upset but it’s better to know than be ignorant to the reality of things!

It’s critical to be mindful and take a few minutes to really tune-in to certain messages. It’s imperative to think for yourself. Be curious. Be questionable. Learn something. Be inspired. Share information. Do your part (even if small) to help shape the world into a better place.

If you haven’t already done so, please sign this petition and share amongst your friends. The comment period will be closing April 22. http://act.credoaction.com/campaign/gmo_salmon/?rc=fb_share1&r_by=54648-4545860-Wtpa%3D3x

Did you hear!?

  • Nothing is impossible is what I get from reading this story about a man single-handedly planting a forest which now inhabits animals like birds, deer, rhinos, tigers and elephants. 34 years ago forest officials said it was impossible to grow anything in the sand bar but that did not stop Jadav “Molai” Payeng from trying. Read the story here.
  • Prehistoric humans never had toothbrushes, floss, Lysterine or toothpaste but their teeth were in WAY better shape than us modern day folks are. Read about the REAL reasons for cavities and gum disease here.

Until next time,
